New Beginnings

It’s August 16, 2026 and as I sit here at Danbi Coffee in Pasadena, I don’t know what exactly I want to say. What I do know is that Danbi has very quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots. I love coffee and I especially love going to cafes. I never envisioned myself becoming a coffee cafe person, but life surprises you in many ways.

Maybe that’s what I should write about … the way I thought my life would turn out and how it actually turned out. Hmmm … 🤔 maybe I save that for a different time. Maybe I write about all the coffee shops I’ve visited in Pasadena, which at this point is almost all of them. Go to order you might ask? Easy. Iced Vanilla latte with oatmilk. For a long time, it was a black coffee, but alas, things change. “I’m going through changes.” Wow. What a great song by Black Sabbath, but I digress. I think I’ve rambled on long enough.

To anyone reading this, thank you. My only hope is that you get something out of it. Hopefully, a laugh, if anything. I’m at a point in my life where I am about to embark on many new adventures 🌅, and I invite you to join me.

For now, this blog will be about anything, everything, and sometimes nothing. Stay tuned, as I write about:
